Krakus Mound is one of Kraków’s most mysterious and peaceful places. According to legend, it was built in honour of Krakus - the mythical founder of the city - and today it remains one of the best viewpoints overlooking Kraków.
Located away from the busiest streets and surrounded by greenery, it attracts visitors looking for quieter moments and less obvious corners of the city. The atmosphere becomes especially magical at sunset, when the skyline of Kraków fills with warm colours and a slower rhythm.
