Florianska Street, one of the first cobblestone streets in Cracow, is part of the Royal Road leading to Wawel Castle. It owes its name, which it has carried for about 700 years, to St. Florian's Church.
Cracow's most famous street, a must-see on the city sightseeing map, begins at the famous Florian's Gate. Throughout the year, this tract bustles with life and attracts visitors with attractions, including:
- House No. 45, or the famous Michalik's Den,
- House No. 41, which is the former home and now a museum of Jan Matejko,
- Museum of Pharmacy in house no. 25,
- Pod Różą Hotel- the oldest hotel in the city (No. 14),
- the Pod Matką Boską tenement house (No. 7).
