Known as a living legend of socialist realism, Nowa Huta is a unique district that is increasingly popular with tourists wishing to witness the realization of the idea of a socialist ideal city combined with the concept of a garden city.
Formerly considered extremely ugly, Nowa Huta has in recent years become Cracow's new tourist attraction. It is a living monument to the functional socialist realist architecture entered in the register of monuments. Among the sights worth seeing here are:
